We begin in La Fortuna, where we’ll explore stunning waterfalls with a local guide, unwind in natural hot springs, and savor cocktails under the stars. Next, we head to Tortuguero, a canal and jungle paradise, where we’ll encounter unique wildlife and enjoy boat rides through the rainforest!
Accommodations
On our Pura Vida group tour, you'll enjoy comfortable stays in charming Costa Rican accommodations. If you're traveling solo, you'll be paired with someone of the same sex in a shared room. Prefer a private room? That’s often possible for an additional fee—just ask Elise about the options.

The best bird watching location in La Fortuna
It's a nice typical Costa Rican accommodation, centrally located near La Fortuna.
The nice thing is that with breakfast you have a view of the volcano and you can often spot toucans and more poultry!
Nice waterfront accommodation in Tortuguero
This accommodation is located in nature by the water which gives you a beautiful view here.
The hotel is simple but very nice.
Typical Caribbean in Puerto Viejo
The hotel has a beautiful view of Manuel Antonio.
You can often spot monkeys or iguanas in the tree.
The sea is easily reached by bus.

1. Start your adventure: Land at the Costa Rica airport or if you are already in Costa Rica, come from another beautiful place and come to our hotel near the airport.
2. We explore the hot spots together! We depart by bus to beautiful La Fortuna, continue our path to the nature oasis Tortuguero and then head to laid-back Puerto Viejo.
No hassle with planning and logistics - we arrange everything and take you to the most special places!
3. Go on transit or back again! After this great time you can choose for yourself: continue on your journey or return to the Netherlands.
